On the afternoon of May 11th, a delegation led by relevant officials from the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Big Data Management Bureau and Dazhulin Street visited Chongqing Iridium Stone Technology Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Iridium Stone Technology Group") for inspection and guidance. The relevant officials from the Group warmly received and accompanied the delegation during the inspection.
During the inspection and exchange, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the development trends of the big data and computing power industries, and the acceleration of the construction of the Shuitu Big Data Center infrastructure project in Chongqing. Iris Stone Technology Group primarily reported on the company's strategic layout and phased achievements in the entire computing power industry chain business, showcasing its systematic capabilities in computing power infrastructure construction, computing power scheduling and services, as well as the implementation of industry applications.
The research team expressed their affirmation for the forward-looking layout and pragmatic advancement of Iridium Stone Technology Group in the field of computing power. They pointed out that the Liangjiang New Area is actively integrating into the national strategic layout of "east data, west computing". As an important starting area for the Chongqing data center cluster, a national computing power hub node, Shuitu New City is accelerating the formation of a high-density and high-efficiency computing power infrastructure cluster. They hoped that the enterprise could seize the opportunity and deeply participate in the collaborative and innovative ecological construction of the regional computing power industry chain.
The relevant person in charge of the enterprise stated that Iridium Technology will continue to increase its investment in the research and development of key computing technology and infrastructure, actively align with the digital economy development strategy of Liangjiang New Area, assist Chongqing in building a highland of computing power in western China, and contribute corporate strength to the national "Digital China" strategy.
It is understood that, as of now, the Shuitu New City in Liangjiang New Area has established 9 large data centers, including Liangjiang Cloud Computing, Tencent, and Inspur, forming a service capacity of approximately 37,000 cabinets, which can accommodate 480,000 servers. Additionally, over 20 large cloud platforms, such as Tencent Cloud, Huawei Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud, have been established, serving more than a thousand customers across various sectors including government affairs, finance, and industry nationwide, effectively propelling the construction of digital Chongqing to a new level. During this inspection and exchange, both parties conducted in-depth discussions centered on industry trends and regional computing power layout, further enhancing mutual trust and consensus, and creating positive conditions for exploring specific project cooperation in the future.
